Each month the group gathers to discuss in detail the particular book chosen for that month. Selections vary widely, from fiction and non-fiction, classics to the latest bestsellers, based on the interests of the current members. It's a great way to combine intellectual stimulation and socializing at the same time.
Bridge
Our bridge groups welcome players of all levels. These are fun and friendly games.
Monday Afternoon Bridge: Meets on Monday afternoons to play party bridge twice a month.
Friday Morning Bridge: Meets on Friday mornings to play party bridge twice a month.
Partners Bridge: Party bridge is played once a month in the evening.
Discovery
Once a month, our Discovery group investigates local points of interest. Examples of outings include exhibitions at different museums, such as the de Young Museum, Asian Art Museum, SFMOMA, walking tours in San Francisco, view of elephant seals in Año Nuevo State Reserve, Filoli Holiday Traditions, Dickens Fair at the Cow Palace, and many more.
Ladies' Theatre Group
This activity takes place on five Wednesday evenings per season. The plays and musicals are produced by TheatreWorks, whose venues are in both Mountain View and Palo Alto. We dine together before the show and afterwards attend the stimulating Discussion Wednesday Dialogues with artists from each production. This adds to an enriched theatre experience.

Each month we meet to enjoy a different restaurant within the community. A great way to socialize and get to know other members and local restaurants!
Monthly Coffee
A great opportunity to make new friends in a very casual setting in a member's home.
Moveable Feast
At least six times a year, the Moveable Feast committee organizes a social event designed to welcome new members and their partners into the club. We vary our activities to appeal to everyone. Events range in style from casual to formal, from potluck to expensive. Our goal is to offer ample social opportunities for all of our members. Recent events include Oktoberfest, Bunco Game Night, Wine Tasting & Pizza in Wine Country, Crab Feasts, Salsa Dancing Lessons, a Clam Bake, Happy Hour at the BBC, a Western BBQ, a Dinner Dance at a local country club, and Dinner/Theater Evenings.
Movie and Lunch
Once a month, this group attends movies in area theatres during late morning/early afternoon and then enjoys lunch and a discussion of the movie afterwards.
Walking the Dish
Once a month members meet at the "Stanford Dish" and walk the trail split in two different group levels.
